Add, verify, import and sync your redirects.

Install the CLI

The CLI release is pending during early access. Once available, the install command is:

npm install -g @forward-domains/cli

Add a redirect

fwd add oldproduct.com --to https://newproduct.dev

The command prints the domain, destination and registrar records. Verify account ownership with the supplied TXT proof before routing traffic. An A record sends apex traffic to the edge; a CNAME routes www. Keep your existing email records.

Verify the setup

fwd verify oldproduct.com

Verification checks DNS, the certificate and the redirect. HTTPS becomes available once issuance completes.

Review before syncing

$ fwd sync --dry-run

Use fwd import to bring existing redirects into the file, and fwd pull to write it from your account. Every command supports --json.
