Forward for developers

Domains, redirects and pages, kept alongside your code.

One file for your domains

Forward gives a domain a job: redirect it over HTTPS, park it, list it for sale, or point visitors to a good cause. Keep your registrar and your email. Verify ownership, then point DNS.

Ownership and routing

Ownership proof is separate from routing. Add the account-bound TXT record supplied by Forward, then set the apex A record and the www CNAME. Leave your MX records in place. Certificates are queued after both ownership and routing checks pass.

Your development workflow

Describe your rules in redirects.yaml. Review a sync plan before applying changes. Use the CLI from your terminal, the sync action from CI, or the MCP server from your agent.

These guides describe the agreed early-access workflow. CLI, Action and MCP releases are still pending; request early access before attempting these commands.
